  1. Great job! I use it to convert SVG to windows icons. Fine quality!!! Thanks a lot.
    The best icon editor (not free) is AWIcons, but it can’t do such job…. with such a quality of antialising. Will recommend this site for our desingers.

  9. I have masses of icons and they are Unix Executable Files,
    i downloaded them some time ago for my Mac OSX but now want them in .ICNS format. How would i best convert these .ICNS

  13. If you upload a 48×48 image, it will create an ico with 48×48 ico in the file.

  33. Nonostante ripetuti tentativi non riesco a trasformale la foto da me scelta in icona.
    Dopo aver caricato dal mio hard disk la foto desiderata(tramite il comando sfoglia e successivamente salva), cliccando sul comando convert non succede niente anche dopo ore di attesa.
    Vi chiedo, se possibile, di farmi conoscere in che cosa sbaglio.

  35. The application I am building on Revolution Studio requires the following window icons which I have to created from one Mac Icon. Can ICONVERT accomplish this? It seems to only make 3 icons.

    I get the following error messqge from Revolution:

    Your icon file does not include 9 required image formats:

    16 color 16X16 pixels
    256 color 16X16 pixels
    16 color 32×32 pixels
    256 color 32×32 pixels
    16 color 48×48 pixels
    256 color 48×48 pixels
    Windows XP (32 bit color) 16×16 pixels
    Windows XP (32 bit color) 32×32 pixels
    Windows XP (32 bit color) 48×48 pixels

  36. Great web-app. It’s seriously the best thing out there for converting icons.

    My one wish though is that it would do batch conversions. Will this be a possibility in the future?

  56. How about adding .cur as an exported file format? I’m going round and round and can’t find a plugin, tool or app to save this format on a mac os x.

  60. Hey, I’m using your tool for a variety of our projects – great stuff!

    Mostly we upload a .png file with a size above 48 pixels to gain a windows icon. now, all big icons from 32px upwards look nice, but the 16px icon mostly looks bad :( it would be cool if you offer an option to create some icon dimensions from specific files (like here the low rez size)

    I’ll send a donation once this is done :D

  67. I have no problem with creating mac .icns on my mac with available free software, but going from .ico to .icns was problematic until now. Thank you.

    A bulk option (i.e., convert an entire icon set at once) would be fabulous. I guess that would best be left to an app that was downloadable?

    &
    in the title, it doesn’t work. You should make some adjustment to change that or to tell people to change it. But seriously, it really doesn’t matter. This site rocks!

  79. I would like to see an option under the windows section to download converted images as jpg’s or png’s rather than having to scroll down.

    But still, it’s very easy to use, and very quick to convert any image.
